No. Alvarenga Tours is not the contractor building your home.
We provide independent construction support, project monitoring, documentation, communication, and guidance for clients building in El Salvador.
Your contractor and other qualified professionals are responsible for performing the construction and specialized work.
The contractor builds your house. Alvarenga Tours helps look out for you.

Your contractor's primary responsibility is to perform the construction work you hired them to complete.
Our role is different.
Alvarenga Tours helps you maintain greater visibility into the project through monitoring, documentation, communication, and regular updates—especially when you cannot be physically present in El Salvador.
Having a contractor doesn't eliminate the need for information.

Depending on your project and service agreement, our construction support may include project visits, photos and videos, progress documentation, communication with the project team, monitoring important milestones, and reporting relevant developments to you.
The specific level and frequency of monitoring is established as part of your service agreement.

Clients enrolled in our ongoing construction-monitoring service receive weekly project updates, unless a different reporting schedule is established in the service agreement.
Updates may include photographs, videos, progress information, important developments, questions, and matters requiring the client's attention.

Alvarenga Tours provides project monitoring and progress observations, but we are not acting as your licensed engineer, architect, or professional construction inspector.
When technical evaluation of structural work, electrical systems, engineering, architectural compliance, or other specialized construction matters is required, the appropriate qualified professional should perform that evaluation.
When necessary, we can help coordinate with the appropriate professional.

If we observe something that appears inconsistent, unclear, or requires additional explanation, our role is to bring the matter to your attention and help obtain clarification from the appropriate person.
When the concern requires technical or legal expertise, we may recommend involving the appropriate qualified professional.

Alvarenga Tours does not serve as a bank, escrow company, or financial institution.
Payment arrangements for contractors, suppliers, professionals, and other project expenses should be clearly established in the appropriate agreements.
We strongly encourage clients to maintain documentation of significant payments related to their construction.

Alvarenga Tours can provide clients with information and documentation about observed project progress, but the client remains responsible for financial decisions unless a specific written agreement establishes otherwise.
When payment depends on technical completion of a construction phase, verification by the appropriate qualified professional may be recommended before funds are released.

Although many of our clients are Salvadorans and other individuals living in the United States, our services are designed for people building in El Salvador while living abroad—or anyone who wants greater visibility and support during their construction project.
